Local News
Just a quick note this week. Knox Presbyterian church in downtown Guelph just completed the sale of their building. Their minister says the congregation will continue to gather and operate as a worshipping community but in a new way.
They/we look forward to what they will become unburdened by the need to maintain their building.
The purchaser is a a developer who claims to love the building but as yet doesn’t have a plan for its use. Many Guelph folks have ideas and opinions about that.
We’ll be waiting and watching as plans firm up. And we’re excited about the potential for the congregation as it continues to discern its new future. Not so many expect great things from them. But we wish them well and anticipate a wonderful future for the folks from Knox and for the community.
